This Privacy Policy describes how the NeoFocus mobile application (“NeoFocus”, “the app”, “we”, or “us”) handles information when you use the app. NeoFocus is a Pomodoro timer focused on local, on-device usage.
1. Overview
NeoFocus is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require you to create an account or provide personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) in order to use the app.
2. Data stored on your device
NeoFocus stores some data locally on your device to make the app work as expected. This typically includes:
- App settings (for example: default session preset, default clock theme)
- Session presets you create or modify
- Clock theme configurations saved inside the app
- Simple usage counters (for example: total focus time, sessions completed)
This information is stored only on your device (for example in local storage or a local database) and is not automatically sent to us. If you uninstall the app, this locally stored data is usually removed by your operating system.
3. Information we do not collect
NeoFocus does not:
- Require you to register an account or log in
- Ask for your real name, address, or phone number
- Collect your notes, tasks, or the content of your work
We also do not intentionally collect any sensitive categories of data such as health information or biometric data.
4. Third-party services
NeoFocus is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google and your device’s operating system may collect certain technical information automatically, such as:
- Basic device information (device model, OS version)
- App install and update events
- Crash reports or diagnostics, if you have enabled them

At the time of this version of the Privacy Policy, NeoFocus does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs inside the app. If future versions of the app add such services (for example, in-app advertising or analytics), this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe what is used and how.
5. Purchases
NeoFocus offer in-app purchases (for example, to remove ads in future versions). Payment processing is handled by Google Play. We do not receive your full payment details (such as your credit card number). Any payment-related information is processed under Google Play’s terms and privacy policy.
6. Children’s privacy
NeoFocus is not specifically targeted at children, but it is designed to be simple and does not contain user-generated content or social features. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can delete it.
7. Data security
Because NeoFocus primarily stores data locally on your device, the security of that data depends in part on your device and operating system (for example: screen lock, device encryption). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a secure lock method.
8. Your choices
You can control and reset most information stored by NeoFocus in the following ways:
- Change or delete your session presets from inside the app
- Change default settings (such as default theme or default preset)
- Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or connect to additional third-party services. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We recommend checking this page occasionally to stay informed.
